From developmental feedback to final-pass proofreading, we help polish your manuscript until it shines. Partner with us to help your poetry manuscript reach its full potential. We take a collaborative approach; we ask the “why” questions. How do the structure and content work together? How can the audience better experience these images? Editorial services may vary based on your needs.

Proofreading: Final check for typos, grammar, punctuation, and formatting consistency. Editor will do a final check of your manuscript for grammatical errors, language consistency, and formatting consistency.

$35 per hour

Copyediting: Grammar, style, consistency, flow, and readability improvements. Editor will offer line by line feedback including grammatical, language choice, and poetic device suggestions. Available for individual poems up to full collections.

$40 per hour

Content/Developmental Editing: Big-picture feedback on plot, structure, pacing, character development.

Work closely with an editor to build a strong, cohesive manuscript. Your editor will provide insight on broader themes through the collection, feedback on manuscript organization and narrative, and grammatical, language choice, and poetic device suggestions.
